These beautiful stones have veins or chunks of white quartz running through the slate. Each box is a unique mix of stones from 1 to 3 inches. Some have more quartz than slate, some more slate than quartz. They have been sourced, washed, hand picked, and packaged by our family owned business here in the USA. They are safe to use in your scenery and will not deteriorate like resin. Perfect scale for Aquariums and Reptile enclosures. These stones pair beautifully with larger slate/quartz and our all grey slate as well as our aquarium gravel to give a more natural look to your tank or enclosure. Create caves, cliffs, berms and water falls in your aquarium, terrarium, paludarium or vivarium. Thoroughly rinse all stones before placing in your habitat. There are absolutely no coatings on this or any of our stone.
